To school. To work. To the mall. To the senior center. LET is there for everyone, ready to go the extra mile to provide you with safe and comfortable transportation wherever life takes you. Here are some helpful tips and general information to make your journey an enjoyable one.
CATCHING THE BUS
You can catch the bus anywhere along a fixed route. Please be at your stop a few minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive. Simply wave at the driver and the bus will stop to pick you up after it safely clears the intersection.
GETTING ON THE RIGHT BUS
Destination signs on the bus display the name and the number of the route the bus is traveling on. Always check the destination sign to be sure you are riding the correct bus.
LOST AND FOUND
If you lose an article on one of our buses, please call 734-242-6766. All articles found are kept for 30 days, and must be identified at the LET terminal at 1105 W. 7th Street in Monroe.
TICKET BOOKS
Monthly passes for unlimited rides are available for $30.00 ($25.00 for student passes) or books of 40, fifty-cent tickets for $20.00 at the Lake Erie Transit Transfer Station located at 730 N. Telegraph, or by sending a check or money order payable to:

Master Card by phone.
OBTAINING I.D. CARDS
An individual under 60 years of age must meet the eligibility requirements and become ADA certified to use the ADA and ETS services. Individuals with disabilities may apply for an ADA/SMART card by calling 734-242-6766 and requesting a form.

GETTING OFF THE BUS
When you are about one block before your stop, tell your driver that you will want to get off the bus. Always remain seated until the bus has come to complete stop.
TRANSFERS
If you need to transfer from one bus to another, you may obtain a free transfer from the driver when you pay your fare. Transfers are valid for one hour.
